Even though the last month or so has been the hardest and probably worst time of my entire life some good things have come from it.
I got my first apartment BY MYSELF. No roommates. No co-signer. Nothin. It’s alllll mine and I did it on my own aside from my sister telling me about the property group that owns it I found it on my own, applied for it, and was accepted. I move in tomorrow. It’s the cutest little apartment too. Right above a restaurant and in the middle of the city near all of the places I like to go. And the address is 420. I’m going to laugh every time I go home. Also super fitting that I live at a 420 address. Finally a good thing happening to me after a couple years of shitty things. I’ve never had a place all of my own and been able to decorate however I want to. I didn’t realize how much of my life I’ve spent trying to take care of other people and not taking care of myself but this is one thing that’s just mine. No one else has control over it. Im finding my peace.
